Adult Circus Classes

Whether you’re completely new to circus or looking for somewhere to keep developing your skills, there’s a place for you here. Fly, balance, build strength, learn something new and discover just how much fun training circus can be.

From aerial and trapeze to acro, balance, flexibility and mixed circus skills, choose the session that catches your eye and come give it a go. No circus background needed for our beginner-friendly sessions.

Fly, balance, move, create, challenge yourself and discover the disciplines you love, with classes designed to give you opportunities to learn, develop and enjoy circus at your level.

Learn new skills, build strength and confidence, and discover abilities you didn’t know you had. From your first successful move to the skills you once thought were impossible, circus gives you plenty to celebrate and always something new to work towards.

Aerial hoop, silks, trapeze, acro, balance, flexibility and more. Explore different disciplines, spend time developing the ones you love and keep adding new skills along the way. There’s always another challenge to try, connection to make or way to move.

Circus is even better when you get to share it. Train alongside a welcoming mix of people, celebrate the wins, laugh through the attempts and enjoy being part of a community that encourages each other. Come on your own or bring a friend. There’ll be a place for you in the circus.

Find Your Session

Need a little extra time to train? 
Our Open Training sessions give existing students and experienced circus practitioners dedicated space to practise, condition, develop skills and work on their own training. These are independent practice sessions rather than taught classes, so suitable experience is required. Not sure if it’s right for you? Just get in touch.

Training regularly should come with a few extra rewards! Our Adult Rewards Programme is our way of saying thank you for being part of Nottingham Circus Arts.

Earn 1 star for every paid adult class or private tuition session you attend. As your stars build up, you’ll receive rewards automatically when you reach each milestone. You don’t spend or exchange your stars, so just keep collecting and see how far your circus journey takes you!

⭐ 35 STARS — BRING A FRIEND FREE + STRETCH BAND

Circus is even better when you share it!

Bring a friend along to enjoy a regular adult session with you and introduce them to the joy of circus. And because this is your reward too, you’ll also receive a stretch band to support your training.

T-SHIRT OR VEST

Look the part, circus style!

You’ve reached 25 stars, so it’s time to add some NCA kit to your wardrobe. Choose an NCA T-shirt or vest top — perfect for training days, everyday days and everything in between.

⭐ 15 STARS — CIRCUS TREAT PACK

A little circus treat for all that training!

Your pack includes a sample of rosin, NCA circus stickers, a vinyl print you can add to your mirror, car, water bottle or wherever you fancy, plus a little sweet treat. You’ve earned it!

You made it to 50 — you’re officially a Circus Legend!
