Cancellation Policy

The NCA Youth Performance Troupe is a full-term programme. Booking confirms commitment to the complete term, including where the fee is paid by instalments. Instalments are simply a way to spread the cost and do not create a monthly or cancel-any-time membership. Troupe members are expected to make every effort to attend their agreed training sessions, rehearsals and planned performances. We understand that individual circumstances may occasionally affect a member’s ability to attend regular Sunday training. Where appropriate, alternative training arrangements may be agreed by Nottingham Circus Arts on an individual basis. Additional rehearsals or practice sessions may be arranged where needed for upcoming performances. Members should make every effort to attend these and families should let us know with as much notice as possible if they are unable to do so. Troupe members must also attend at least one suitable regular NCA youth class each week, booked separately. Regular classes are selected according to age, level and suitability. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once the programme has begun. Missed training sessions, rehearsals or performances due to participant absence are not eligible for refunds, credits or transfers. Where Nottingham Circus Arts cancels a session, an appropriate alternative, credit or refund will be offered where applicable. Performance is a core part of the Troupe programme. Members will work towards performing during the term; however, individual acts, roles and participation in particular performances or external events may vary according to readiness, attendance, event requirements, equipment and available space.
